RE: Your Fuel/Oil comments - please post here

Yeah, I just saw the price per barrel is up to 145.00$. The government has no clue what to do. As if they ever do. One guy says its supply and demand, the other says its speculators. Well which is it? I believe its a combination of OPEC, and speculators. The demand has not trippled in a couple years to warrant the steep rise in oil prices. I for one see this, You hear that nigeria is going to reduce production and prices go up. Then the stockpiles of gas are higher than expected and prices go up, saudi is going to increase output, and prices go up. Its all a sham. This country will go bankrupt to china!!!

RE: Black water tank

The Calgon is part of the Geo method for proper tank maintenance and I highly suggest you follow it. You should be able to shine a light down the commode and see how much water is in the black tank. If it isn't a straight drop into the black tank from the commode you may have problems with TP and stuff clogging. Every trailer I purchase I look for this, 90% are plumbed this way, but I have seen some where they can't place the tank directly under the commode and they have to run horizontal plumbing and these almost always have problems with clogging.
NCH
Intresting. The tank is directly under the commode but it is sloped forward. so the lowest part is not directlly under the commode. I will read up on the GEO method. Thanks!

RE: Black water tank

powdered calgon? What would I use this for? Put it into the black water tank? Since I have brought the TT home I noticed my tank seems to be sloped forward. I cant see the bottom so to speak, to see how much water has been added. I guess I can guestimate how much I need in it.

RE: Black water tank

Thanks for the super fast replies! I will be bringing the TT to the house today to get it ready for our first trip. I will add water and deoderizor to the black tank and add water. I'm sure I'll be back with plenty more questions!!!

Black water tank

Hey all!
New to RV'ing and have a couple questions. When you guys store your RV for a couple months or so do you leave water in any of the tanks? Will it hurt anything if you do? like in the black water tank as far as putting a few gallons in it with some deoderizor? Thanks for any feedback.
Great forum!!
